When your tools don't quite fit
“We run this process across a spreadsheet, email, and chat. The spreadsheet is supposed to be the source of truth, but as soon as someone forgets to update it, nobody is quite sure what's current.”

A real example

Tracking patient health metrics over time, from scattered records to one clear history.
Trendline didn't start as a product idea. It started with a problem I saw up close through my partner's work as a doctor. Patient measurements were spread across notes, paper records, spreadsheets, and results from different points in time.
I started with something small: one place to keep those measurements and see how they changed over time. Once she began using it, the same visual history also made it easier to explain changes to patients. She found that they could follow the explanation more easily and talk about it with their families.
That feedback changed how I saw the product. It was not only about organizing data, but making it easier to understand and discuss. The first useful version was running in under two weeks, early enough to learn from a real user what Trendline could become.
What mattered was not speed alone. It was putting something useful in front of a real user early enough to learn what mattered.

I'm Tài Huỳnh, a software engineer with more than 10 years of experience. I made this site to find real problems that software could help solve.
You know your work: the steps you keep repeating, where mistakes happen, and the tools that don't quite fit. Those are things I can't see by guessing what to build.
AI tools help me build and test faster. Understanding how you work is what tells me what to build.
